Christmas in Florida

On Christmas Eve we woke up bright and early and our good friend Bryan Strahan took us to the airport for our flights to Florida.  We were not sure how Colter would be on the plane since it was his first flight and we had to wake him early in the morning.  He was great and slept on both flights.  When we was awake he was happy and easy to please!!

We arrived in Florida at around 2 and got settled into my parents neighbors condo (they allowed us to use it!!)  Colter was very excited to see his cousins and would not take an afternoon nap.  He had a lot of trouble falling asleep that night because he was overtired and I certainly worried he might not sleep well in strange surroundings.  But other than that night he went down for naps and bed the rest of the time without issues!! 

My mom made a delicious Christmas Eve dinner and off to bed we headed. The next morning Santa had come and all the kids were excited. Colter just loved watching them but also loved playing with some new toys he got. We hung out and enjoyed the beautiful weather on Christmas and then had a nice dinner all together.

The rest of the vacation was full of swimming, playing with cousins and even a visit with Hannah, Dan and Caden our friends from PA.  We ate lots of good food and enjoyed weraing flip flops and shorts while PA was getting slammed with snow!!

Jarrod also celebrated his 30th birthday in Florida and I got a chance to take him out to dinner with my mom watching Colter! 

We flew back on the 30th and Colter again slept for most of the flights!! On each flight someone told us what a good kid he was...we agree!! Overall it was a great Christmas and another great trip to Florida!!
