Colter's Corner: Ear Infection

Well Colter has his first ear infection. We made it to almost 6 months before his first real sickness(not counting his intestinal issues). He had been fighting a cold for a few weeks. This week he really was seeiming a lot better. Then he woke up from a nap screaming yesterday and then had a very rough night. He could not breathe well through his nose and was coughing and just could not calm well...meaning little sleep for him or me :( So I called and got into Saturday hours at the pediatrician. He was shocked when he saw how bad Colters ear was because other than the rough night Colter was very happy and not pulling at his ear. He is on Amoxicillin for 7 days...hoping it works quickly. He was pretty upset napping today and could not get comfy...poor guy...but after getting a good rest he is now playing like crazy on the floor. We are truly blessed by a very happy little kiddo!!
